The world on your back
When her husband dies unexpectedly from an illness, Cándida's life collapses and turns upside down. With four children in her care, and without any type of studies or having ever gone to school, Cándida must help her family move forward in the face of the numerous setbacks that come her way. She will carry the world on her back, obsessed with giving her children a better future than hers.
Story inspired by the experiences of my maternal family.
This project is currently in development, with plans to conclude it in June 2025.

Witches
Self-published illustration book, which I have illustrated, written and laid out. Illustrations made with a pen and Indian ink. DIN A4. All illustrations are accompanied by brief text notes, without losing the prominence of the illustrations.
In it I tell the story of how the image of the witch has evolved from pre-Christian beginnings to the end of the 18th century. How at the beginning of time these women who ended up being known as witches began as healers and shamans. Those who were in charge of helping others with plants and ointments, and were in charge of communicating with the spirits of primitive cultures.
With the arrival of Christianity, these ideas became pagan and persecuted, with these women being accused of being the devil's lovers and spreading evil throughout the world. The people, although they followed the guidelines given by the Church, secretly continued to turn to these "witches" to solve earthly ills.
